Like the aforementioned try, Uccello’s shot missed wide of the left post. Just two minutes later, Luca Uccello also released a shot from just outside of the 18-yard box. However, Daniels’ take went wide of the left post. In the 59th minute, Aidan Daniels sprinted at Pittsburgh defender Hugh Roberts and turned him around, which freed him up for a shot from just outside the penalty area. Scoring the goal for Toronto FC II, Shaan Hundal received a ball on the right side of the penalty area from Mariano Miño. The Hounds held strong for most of the second half, allowing the only Toronto tally in stoppage time. The striker then sent a shot at Hounds goalkeeper Dan Lynd, who lunged and batted it away from danger across the penalty box. Off a counterattack, Toronto forward Ben Spencer sprinted and collected the ball on the right side of the penalty area.
